Metro North Mall has been an integral part of the Northland community for almost 40 years. MD Management is working to modernize the shopping district and make it a first class retail and entertainment destination for years to come.
We are currently developing plans and working with local governmental officials with hopes that reconstruction will be complete by 2014. When completed this new modern Metro North Mall will once again provide the Northland with top notch retail stores, restaurants, and entertainment venues.
This website allows you to follow the redevelopment process from start to finish. MD Management seeks your input and ideas as we update the information and add pertinent additional data in the future.
Facilitate a coordinated redevelopment of the Metro North Mall Planned Industrial Expansion Area (“Area”). The area is divided into eight tracts of property that are owned by five different entities. Given the existing street layout, tract configuration and mutual restrictive covenants, each tract is integral to the redevelopment of the other tracts. As a result, it is unlikely that redevelopment will occur without the availability of acquisition assistance and the selection of a single developer to undertake a coordinated redevelopment plan for the Area.
