Mother Finds a Way to Help JDRF

Untitled Document Jewelry designer Cindy Schneider from Red Bench Designs knew shortly after her son was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes that she needed to find a way to contribute to JDRF. Her 4-year-old son’s attitude toward his disease was the inspiration for her Jack’s Joy Jewelry Collection. During the weeks and months after his diagnosis, it was clear that Jack was embracing his new way of life in a very special way. He is the sunshine, hope and joy for everyone around him – always finding the bright spot on the darkest of days with hardly a complaint, and never a fuss – teaching us all to “find the joy in the unexpected.” Cindy donates a portion of every piece sold from the Jack’s Joy Collection to JDRF in Jack’s name, and in honor of the thousands of children living with juvenile diabetes.
