The third Annual Juvenile Diabetes Golf and Tennis Open was held on Monday, June
15, 2009, at beautiful Greenacres Country Club in Lawrenceville, N.J. The Chapter
partnered with the Blick family, Fine family, Lindsay Vastola and Mark Taddeo
this year, and the
event raised $150,000 - $44,000 over budget. The weather was beautiful
and the rain stayed away from the field of 115 golfers and 22-plus tennis players
who enjoyed
a great day of events.
The golf events for the JDRF Mid Jersey Chapter have hit another milestone
this year, raising $1.2 million in just eight years! Congratulations to all
