Flag Display Draws Attention to Kidney Disease

HJMIVHJYLI
Two hundred and sixty flags, each representing 100,000 people with chronic kidney disease (CKD), were on display near Kansas City’s famous J.C. Nichols Fountain located on the historic Country Club Plaza. The flags, which featured the Love Your Kidneys logo, symbolized the 26 million people who have CKD across the United States. The display not only attracted the attention of those driving to/from work or dining on the Plaza, it also captured the attention of Kansas City’s news media.

The flags also served as a reminder to those participating in the Southwest Missouri’s Kidney Walk. The display was prominently featured on the lawn leading up to the Kidney Walk at St. John’s Health Plans.

If you are interested in scheduling the flag display at your corporate work site in the Kansas City, Southwest Missouri or Wichita areas, please contact the NKF office at 1-800-444-8113.
