More than 150 health care professionals, a seminar record, attended “Extreme Team Makeover,” this year’s Professional Education Seminar sponsored by the National Kidney Foundation Serving Kansas and Western Missouri and the Missouri Kidney Program. The one-day event was held at the Kauffman Conference Center in Kansas City, Mo. This year’s seminar focused on the new CMS (Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services) regulations and their impact on the interdisciplinary health care team.
Seminar supporters included Genzyme, Primaris, Roche and Fresenius.
