In January, you received a special mailing from the National Kidney Foundation of Wisconsin (NKFW) that featured nine volunteers telling their stories about ‘why’ they choose to ‘give back’. More than 29,500 dialysis patients, transplant recipients, healthcare professionals, family members and friends had a chance to read about and be inspired by these incredible people. As this newsletter went to print, 116 people have already sent in a financial contribution to support the NKFW.
