Reverend Solomon Jackson, Jr. surprised the National Kidney Foundation Serving the Carolinas, South Carolina Region (NKF) with a gift of $100,000 in December. “We are incredibly grateful for Rev. Jackson’s gift. It is the largest donation from an individual we have ever received,” said Beth Irick, president of the National Kidney Foundation of the Carolinas. “I feel like we won the lottery,” said Irick. Rev. Jackson’s generous donation will be used for patient services such as financial assistance and prevention initiatives such as free health screenings.
