The Kansas City Business Journal and its partners, The Resource Group, Quantum Market Research, Ferrellgas and Right Management, are pleased to announce the finalists of the sixth-annual Best Places to Work awards program.
Employees from each participating company were surveyed and rated their company on the following: team effectiveness; retention risk; alignment with goals; trust with co-workers; individual contribution; manager effectiveness; trust in senior leaders; feeling valued; work engagement and people practices.
The top 10 finalist in each employee size tier will be recognized at an awards breakfast November 1st at the Hyatt Regency Crown Center and featured in a special supplement of the Kansas City Business Journal on November 3rd. Top-ranked companies in each size category will receive a complimentary copy of their Basic Overview Report (valued at $4,000).
Any company in the Kansas City metropolitan area (Ray, Cass, Clay, Jackson and Platte counties in Missouri, and Johnson, Leavenworth and Wyandotte counties in Kansas) with 10 or more employees can participate. This includes public and private companies, as well as nonprofit organizations.
