KREC Welcomes New Commissioners

Best Wishes to Judy Nusser
JZUWYVYTSL

After more than eight years of service, the commission said good-bye to Commissioner Judy Nusser in Sept. 2003. Judy was an industry member from Garden City. She was appointed in Aug. 1995 and reappointed for a second term in 1999. Roger Staab, an industry member from Hays succeeds Judy as representative of the 1st Congressional District.

Every commissioner lends his or her time and talents to KREC for the good of the industry. Because of logistics, Judy occupied a special place in our hearts. She faithfully made the 5 1/2-hour trek to Topeka every month without even a whimper. She always joked that her car knew the way. We’re all sure Judy appreciates the additional time to spend with her family, friends, and clients, but she will be greatly missed by her fellow commissioners and KREC staff.
